Cardonald Smiles has re-opened and we are delighted to be back looking after our patients!

The safety and well-being of our patients and staff remains our top priority, and we have spent time upgrading both the practice and our procedures to ensure this. We would kindly ask everybody attending the practice to keep our new measures in mind.

We will carry out COVID screening prior to and on arrival at the practice. We ask that you only attend the practice if you have a scheduled appointment. For all enquiries, please contact our reception team.

Unless exempt, please wear a mask covering your nose and mouth. The dentist will ask you to remove this when appropriate in the surgery.

There is a hand sanitiser point for use on arrival and prior to departure.

We have upgraded our reception and waiting areas to accommodate social distancing.

We are booking appointments in such a way that will prevent overcrowding in the waiting area, and to further avoid this we would ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This, along with the added time required for surgery fallow and extra cleaning between each patient means we are able to see drastically fewer patients each day than we did before the pandemic, so you may have to wait a little longer for appointments.

All patients who had appointments cancelled during the initial lockdown are on our waiting list. We are currently prioritising those with urgent care needs and those who have outstanding treatment. We will then be contacting those who had routine check-ups cancelled. Please be assured that if you are on our waiting list, we will be in touch, however it will take some time to clear the list and we appreciate your patience while we do. If you have any dental problems while waiting to hear from us, please contact our reception team. If you would like to be added to our waiting list please let us know.
